About Tennisha Edwards
Tennisha Edwards, CPNP-PC, is a board-certified primary care pediatric nurse practitioner at Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics in Atlanta, Georgia. She provides primary care services to children from birth to young adult, including well-child care and preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Tennisha’s care for children includes a special interest in child advocacy and child abuse.
Tennisha earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Rochester in New York and received her Doctorate of Science in Nursing (DNP) from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing of Emory University in Druid Hills, Georgia, where she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society.
Tennisha is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She also currently serves as a preceptor for South University family nurse practitioner students.
Tennisha grew up in Rochester, New York. When she’s not at work she loves to spend time with her family, traveling, singing, and watching movies.
